Meet PostPals™

The World’s First Data-to-Adventure Platform

Empowering mission-driven institutions to bring their untapped data and stories beyond their walls through immersive, personalized adventures — unleashing the wonder of the world and a new era of scale and fundraising.

About Us

A belief worth protecting

Some stories are too important to disappear. POSTPALS was created from a simple belief: the institutions that protect our planet, our science, and our culture deserve a future as expansive as their mission, and the next generation deserves to inherit both the wonder and the responsibility.

We exist to help the world’s most important institutions thrive by transforming real science, real data, and real stories into immersive adventures that spark curiosity, connection, and drive fundraising at global scale.

What Drives Us

Mission, Vision & Values

This isn’t content for content’s sake. It’s storytelling with purpose, built to educate, activate, and endure.

Our Vision

POSTPALS helps build a world where curious people everywhere connect with real science, nature, and culture, guided by the institutions that safeguard them, a portal open to every future explorer.

Our Values

We use real science, and real tech, with purpose. POSTPALS transforms partner data into meaningful adventures using technology and human creativity. This isn’t automation for automation’s sake. It’s about helping families and institutions build a smarter, more connected future.

If POSTPALS dropped you into a field expedition tomorrow, where are you going?

Open ocean.

What animal do you irrationally respect?

Have you ever seen the scars on a white shark? Well, Harbor Seals are the main culprit. If you have ever seen them outrun a shark you would irrationally respect them. They are muscular, compact and playful speedy swimmers. I would hang out with a Harbor Seal any day.

What’s your unpopular opinion about technology?

It is inevitable. It’s an irrevocable genie we have let out of the bottle. It’s time we contribute to focusing it in a productive and positive direction.

What’s one thing POSTPALS will never compromise on, even if it costs us speed or scale?

So many things, but our relationships and contributions to our partners and their research drive the power of storytelling for our Explorers. It is at the heart of what we do.

What animal do you irrationally respect?

I respect and love Otters. They appear to embrace life by having fun a lot of the time, they don’t seem to be impacted by the cold of winter, nor the heat of summer, and it looks like they are never short on food, friends, and distractions.

What’s one thing POSTPALS will never compromise on, even if it costs us speed or scale?

We’ll never compromise the learning, the fun, nor the science of the Adventure experience we strive to deliver to young Explorers and their Parents.

If you had to teach one lesson to every child on Earth, what would it be, and why?

There will always be someone faster, and always someone slower than you. Don’t get caught up with worrying about who came in first; focus on what you are doing, how you can do it better, with an eye on successfully crossing the goal line. That’s what really matters.

What animal do you irrationally respect?

The octopus. It has three hearts, most of its neurons are in its arms, and it can get out of almost anything. That’s great architecture.

Shark Week or Shark Tank?

Shark Week. The sharks are more upfront about what they want.

What’s something that should be simpler than it is?

Folding a fitted sheet. I’ve solved harder problems in code, and I still lose that fight every time.

What’s the best part of building tech for kids?

Kids don’t read instructions. If something doesn’t make sense to them in three seconds, that’s my fault, not theirs. It keeps me honest.

What creature would you want as your Quest sidekick?

An axolotl. It can regrow its own limbs, and it always looks like it just heard great news. That’s the energy I want on an expedition.

What did you want to be when you were eight?

I wanted to be an archeologist or a translator for the UN. I created digs in my backyard, buried time capsules for future diggers, and tried to learn to understand many languages by eavesdropping while riding the bus.

What’s one thing POSTPALS will never compromise on?

The moment a kid runs to the mailbox ready to start their next quest. Every email, post and pixel we make should protect that feeling.

Who is your favorite OCEARCH shark?

Breton is pretty cool because he seems to be swimming in the shape of a shark so it is fun to imagine why he might do that, but Lemanja is probably my favorite because she is our first tiger shark and introduced the explorers to a UNESCO World Heritage marine area.

What’s your field expedition survival strategy?

Find a guide who knows the way and pack a healthy snack budget. I’m brave, not reckless.

What’s your favorite part of a Quest?

The postcard. In a world full of screens, a kid gets something real in the mailbox with their name on it. I’ve written a lot of copy in my career, and nothing beats the words that get stuck on a fridge.

What’s the weirdest thing on your desk?

A George Costanza Yankees bobblehead of him napping under his desk. He reminds me that every great idea needs a little downtime to show up.

What’s a fact you bring up way too often?

Wombat poop is cube-shaped. I’ve worked it into three meetings and one first date.
